A post to say goodbye

I think it's time to stop this chapter and move on. Writing in English is by far much more fun and enjoyable than in Estonian, but I need change.
I'm sure I will return one day.

Love, peace, empathy.

PS. Who reads my trash anyway?

Not to be rude.. but who the hell are you? :D

Nobody special. I visited Tallinn a little over a year ago and have developed a fascination with anything relating to Estonia. Anyway, I've enabled my profile so you have access to my email now.

Hmm, sure, I'll send you an invetation! But the thing is.. can you understand Estonian?

Vabandage, ma ei räägi eesti keelt.

So...sadly, no. :p

Ha ha, very good!
Tasa sõuad, kaugele jõuad :D (An Estonian proverb)

What country do you come from? And for what reason are you fascinated with Estonia?

Sorry, I can't make that one out. Something about working afar?

I'm from Texas, in the U.S.

Old town is beautiful. I love the sense of permanence. In the States, we tend to think something is old if it's 100 years old. When you are inside a building that may date from the 1200's THAT is old. :p

Anyway, maybe you could let me know if you start to blog in English again. ;)

Well, if you translate it directly it would mean something like "paddle gently and you will get far".

Yeah, the Old Town is beautiful. It's even something magical during night. The next time you come to Tallinn, I recommend you to climb to the top of church Oleviste (if you already haven't been there). Last summer I took two American tourists there that I had jut met on the street. Although they had a slight hangover and were hungry, they were still pretty impressed :)

Of course, I'll let you know when I start writing in English again. I'm planning to go to a foreign country (maybe Greece, but I'm not 100% sure) to do some volunteer work next year. Then I'll surely "throw my trash out" in English :P

I agree, it is magical at night. Although since I was there in July, the night was very short and not very dark. :p

I'll take your suggestion as well. The top of Oleviste was one of the few places I didn't go.

Hope to see you around. :)

On jah isiklik. Minu vägagi isiklik vingumine. Mitte midagi ilusat seal ei ole. Aga palun :)
